Spring Showcase: Function

“Function” is a 3D animated film directed by Abby Spencer.

The film features a small robot named Blu, who wakes up not knowing who he is or his purpose. Trying to figure out his purpose, Blu compares himself to the other robots around him. However, while trying to mimic the others, he quickly realizes that he is different from the others. Unable to complete the same tasks as the others, Blu feels discouraged and useless.

The crew working on the film is Abby Spencer, Noelle Beene, Andrea Falsone, Jesse Findish, Katelyn Foster, Tyler Fontenos, Joseph Gai, Jamie Murphy

The film will be shown at the Spring Showcase at the Lucas Theatre, during the last three days of the quarter.
