About us

RenderQ is SCAD’s student-run publication covering all things digital media and film. Founded in May 2019, and relaunched in 2021, the publication seeks to be a hub of inspiration and networking for creatives who work in film, animation, games, interactive technology, and more. 

Want to write? RenderQ welcomes submissions by currently enrolled SCAD students. Contact us through our email, instagram, or by reaching out to our staff! 

All positions are currently accepting applications for the Spring 26-Winter 27 contract. Please submit your completed application by email to editor@scadrenderq.com by February 16th.

The publication is led by four student editors, who are selected each spring through an application and interview process.

Editors: Applications for Editor positions on the RenderQ staff run from Spring 24- Winter 25. Positions may become available during that period if an Editor is no longer able to hold their position and will reopen for the remainder of that period.  All Editor positions are ultimately hired by the Editor-in-Chief.
