Who Are We
My name is Andrea Rosado. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. In my second year at SCAD, I have been given the opportunity to become the editor in chief of RenderQ. Exploring my traditional art skills inspired me to begin a creative career in Savannah. Since I got here, I have been focused on the dream of being part of the animation industry. Disney and Pixar have always been my inspiration. My goal is to be part of their team someday. As time passes and I learn more about the field, I realize that I have a natural inclination towards Visual Effects, which I plan to major in. The broad interest I have in the Digital Media department is what moves me to work hard on the RenderQ blog and share some industry insight with other students. My goal is to relaunch this blog with the team and transform it into a source for others to learn about SCAD events, industry information and showcase talented student work.
Hello, My name is Shane Guion and I am the Social Editor. I am a Junior year Visual Effects Major currently living on campus in Savannah. I was born in San Diego California and I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I decided to transfer to SCAD after I started to develop an interest in Visual Effects and felt that it was the right career path for me. I enjoy learning more about film and I’m eager to meet my fellow students.
Hello! My name’s Alexis Behilo and I’m a junior Visual Effects major from Connecticut. The first time I knew I wanted to study Visual Effects was watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Seeing how real the Star Destroyers and Tie Fighters fly through space looked, I couldn’t believe that someone had an actual job of creating those. I’m interested in modeling, lighting, CG integration, and recently compositing. I’ve worked on projects such as SCADPro x Delta and Giselle along with some other films I’m currently working on. I’m excited to start RenderQ back up again with Andrea and Shane. And can’t wait to share articles about current events, student showcases, and other information pertaining to digital media!
