5 Animation Podcasts To Listen To
Looking for something interesting to listen to while working those late nights? Podcasts have been my personal favorite way to help keep my working times much easier. It’s a great insight into the industry and always a fun way to learn more about shows and films. Here are 5 of my current favorites:
Minkyu & Shiyoon
My most recent addition to my podcast list! Run by Disney veteran artists Minkyu Lee and Shiyoon Kim, the duo started the podcast to have more open conversations about animation: both the artform and the industry. Minkyu Lee is best known for working on films like Frozen and Moana, and directed the Oscar-nominated short film Adam & Dog. Shiyoon Kim is a renowned character designer who has worked on Spider-man: Into the Spiderverse, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, and Tangled.
